Global Change Biology is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering research on the interface between biological systems and all aspects of environmental change that affect a substantial part of the globe including climate change, global warming, land use change, invasive species, urbanization, wildfire, and greenhouse gases. Adults that favored gardens had better body condition and morphological traits linked to supplementary feeding and residency. We show that multiple anthropogenic forces are shaping blackcap biology, with implications for understanding responses to global change. The Global Change Genetics Group studies biodiversity responses to global environmental change using integrated multi-disciplinary approaches. Our research sits at the interface between Conservation Biology, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Physical Geography and Mathematical Modelling. Here, we outline the diversity of herbarium data, global change topics to which they have been applied, and new hypotheses they could inform.
